Hello friends and travelers, I have exciting news!!
Years ago, the first dragons began to emerge from a forgotten world hidden above the clouds. Zendavyr has been watching over the dragons that have found new homes to ensure that they are being well cared for.
She is happy to see that they are loved and that the humans here on Earth are welcoming them so well. Zendavyr and the others of the Dragon Council have decided that it is now time to open the gates to Makonis!
From what they have shared, Makonis is a collection of floating islands that each hold a different habitat and species of dragons. Some of these mini worlds/islands have yet to be revealed, with dragons yet to be discovered.
In the coming weekss the Dragon Council will begin to allow visitors to the Grand Hatchery located on the main Isle of Makonis. This is where newborn dragons are nurtured and trained until it is time for them to find their place in our world.
Now that you have a little peek, I will go into a little more of what I have planned....
I originally had the idea of Makonis over seven years ago it seems. I have felt called to revisit this enchanting world many times since.
The Grand Hatchery will be where future adoptions will occur. Once the gates have officially opened, each dragon will come with a registry card featuring a registration number, species, personality and potentially a couple more details. They will continue to come with adoption certificates like before.
I am hoping to grow from just an artist showing off my finished work to a storyteller that will make collecting my Winglings for interactive and exciting. And potentially more challenging (I'll give more details about this soon).
For now, I am working on a dedicated page where you can sign up to be notified when the gates to Makonis open, which I hope to have ready by this weekend.
